Graduate Diploma of Theological Studies (GradDipTheoStud)

The Graduate Diploma of Theological Studies course is designed for those who hold a tertiary qualification in a non-theological discipline, who wish to pursue a graduate qualification in theology. Students will be equipped to critically engage Christian thought and traditions, apply theological knowledge in a range of ministry and professional contexts, and develop advanced skills for further theological study.

The Graduate Diploma of Theological Studies builds upon foundational studies in theology and biblical studies, allowing students to deepen their knowledge across a range of theological disciplines while preparing for higher-level postgraduate study.

Articulation to Other Awards

The Graduate Diploma is a stand-alone award; however, it can also qualify students for the Master of Theological Studies (AQF 9), should they wish to further their studies.

Thus, the Graduate Diploma articulates directly into the Master of Theological Studies. Upon completion of the Master of Theological Studies, the student is required to surrender their Graduate Diploma of Theological Studies.
