Audit a Unit

Deepen your faith and knowledge — without the pressure of formal assessment.

At Nisibis Assyrian Theological College, we believe that theological learning is a lifelong calling — not limited to those pursuing a formal qualification.

Our auditing option allows students, clergy, and members of the wider community to sit in on units of study, engage with course materials, and participate in the rich intellectual and spiritual life of the College without the commitment of graded assessments.

Auditing offers a flexible and accessible pathway into our learning community.

Who Can Audit?

Auditing is open to:

  • Community members with an interest in theology, Syriac Christianity, or Christian ministry
  • Clergy and church leaders seeking continuing formation and professional development
  • Current students wishing to explore units outside their enrolled program
  • Prospective students considering formal enrolment at Nisibis

What to Expect

Auditors are warmly welcomed into the Nisibis learning community and will have access to:

  • Unit lectures and course materials for the duration of the teaching period
  • Engagement with faculty and fellow students in a supportive, faith-filled environment
  • Exposure to rigorous academic theology grounded in the living tradition of the Church of the East

Please note that auditors are not required to submit assignments or sit examinations, and will not receive a formal grade or academic credit upon completion.
